Hi, I'm Helen Geale

I'm an award-winning teacher with a passion for helping people learn in ways that are practical, accessible and enjoyable. Throughout my teaching career, I've particularly enjoyed finding ways to make new or unfamiliar ideas feel less daunting and more achievable.

I was honoured to receive a Quality Teaching Award from the NSW Minister for Education and the Australian College of Educators, in recognition of excellence in teaching. 

I also hold a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, giving me a background that combines education with business and practical experience.

Nubbins Studio grew from my belief that learning doesn't stop when we leave the classroom. There are always new skills to discover, old interests to revisit and different ways to approach life's next chapter.

The workshops I develop are designed to be relaxed, practical and engaging, giving participants the opportunity to learn something useful while enjoying the experience along the way.
